We are excited to host a church movie night on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 6:00 pm, showing “JESUS: a Deaf Missions film.” God’s story is unstoppable when it is in the heart-language of a people group. This movie is the first ever feature film about Jesus in American Sign Language, using native signers to bring the story of Jesus to life from a Deaf perspective for a Deaf audience.

Sister Penny Benedum, First Lady of the New Life in Christ Fellowship Church in Durbin, WV (formerly a member here at Christian Apostolic Church for years while her husband, Pastor Les Benedum, served CAC as an Elder), and also the mother of CAC’s Brother Adam Benedum, was promoted to Glory sometime around 8 am today. Please be in prayer for all the family and church. We will send details on arrangements as soon as we know more. Thank you for praying.
There will be one service only (10:00 AM) tomorrow, Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021. There will no evening service tomorrow. We encourage all to spend time with the family during the visitation (from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 pm at Davis Funeral Home). We hope to see you all at the funeral at 12:00 Noon on Monday, Oct. 25, 2021 at Davis Funeral Home. There will be a dinner provided for the family, which is to take place at Davis Funeral Home, after the graveside service. Again, there will be no evening service! Pastor Joseph will speak in the morning service. We love you all, and we’re thankful for your continuing prayers for full recoveries for all. Thank you.
Dear Folks
Prayerfully, and out of caution, we are cancelling in-person services at Christian Apostolic Church through October 23, 2021 — due to COVID monitoring concerns. As mentioned earlier, I strongly urge that no one judge or hinder their fellow believers over a mask issue (or similar issue). We love you all. May God bless you and keep you safe and well!
Sincerely,
Pastor Doug Joseph

The new asphalt is expected to go down tomorrow, Thursday, April 14! Praise the Lord! In the meantime, all the old asphalt has been milled off. For a litany of technical reasons, combined with the ongoing rain muddying the base layer, tonight’s service is cancelled. However, we should be fine for having both services on Sunday, with parking on a brand new parking lot! Please take note that the four new parking spaces at the front, on either side of the entrance, are for handicapped use only! Thank you!
“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
(1 Corinthians 15:55).
Death has been defeated, and we now have eternal life with Jesus. I will never leave you nor forsake you, He promised.
So, celebrate with us as we honor our risen Savior!
Due to the visitation for Sis. Helen Regina Todd at Amos Carvelli Funeral Home this evening, there will not be a live stream tonight.
Please pray for the family, and please remember to pray for Sis. Brandy Benedum.
Thank you!

CAC’s Marriage Ministry reminds all that this week is National Marriage Week!
Why Marriage Matters
“…We should provide the facts about the importance of marriage as a matter of child welfare and economic aspiration. As a society, we have launched highly effective public education campaigns on much less momentous issues, from smoking to recycling… For now, the decline of marriage is our most ignored national crisis…” — TIME Magazine.
“The Brookings Institution says that if we had the marriage rate today that we had in 1970, there would be a 25 percent drop in poverty. The Heritage Foundation says that marriage drops the probability of a child living in poverty by 82 percent.” — FoxNews
“National Marriage Week presents a chance to focus on rebuilding a culture of marriage for this generation.”
— NEWSWEEK magazine.

Greetings in Jesus name! This is Pastor Doug Joseph, and I want to introduce you to a new Daily Word of Encouragement – posted by Sis. Ashley Fought. She’s been posting these helpful bits of encouragement for a long time, and I recently felt to get the encouragements out to a larger audience by leveraging the combination of our website (mycac.net), our social media page, our email newsletter auto-send feature, and our new mobile app.
To view the Daily Word of Encouragement on the mobile app (which if you don’t have it yet, you can get it on your device at mycac.net/app), just tap “More” in the lower right, and tap “Daily Word of Encouragement” (4th item in list).
I’ve subscribed everyone to the auto-email version. If you don’t want to get it in your inbox, you can uncheck that group choice in your subscription settings. As you may remember, our email features are provided via Mailchimp.com. A link to edit your subscription settings is included at the bottom of every email sent from the system.
Due to snow-covered roads, our morning service is cancelled today, Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021. Stay tuned for updates regarding the evening service, based on temp and conditions.
Today’s the day. It’s the last Sunday of January, 2021, and as we conclude our 30 Days of Prayer, we are also wrapping up our CFC missions offering drive. If you haven’t yet, please give at: mycac.net/give ( scroll to: Missions > NAM > Christmas For Christ ). Thank you, and God bless you!
Day 30. Omit one meal – Pray for impartation of the Holy Ghost; for the gifts of the Spirit to be in operation among the church (I Corinthians 12:8-10). Day 29. Either full fast or Daniel Fast (no meats, processed breads, desserts) – Pray for the Church to be equipped and prepared to receive the fullness of God’s appointed destiny. “Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ” (II Thessalonians 1:11-12).
Day 28. Either full fast or Daniel Fast (no meats, processed breads, desserts) – Pray that God would bring great success to ministries, churches, and works in the kingdom of God. Pray that He would bless and use us to do great things beyond our expectation. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above (beyond) all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Ephesians 3:20). Pray for church leadership teams to be fruitful in ministry and strengthened by intimacy with God (Colossians 1:9-12).
Day 26. Either full fast or Daniel Fast (no meats, processed breads, desserts) – Pray for God to protect missionaries, pastors, and elders from spiritual attack and physical harm. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).
