CAC on live-stream only approach for at least the next two weeks

Dear and precious members and friends of CAC:

In a proactive effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, as of now, all services at Christian Apostolic Church are cancelled for at least the next two weeks.

We will do our best to provide a live-stream worship experience and message/sermon at each normally scheduled service time. As a reminder, visit https://mycac.net/connect/ for Christian Apostolic Church updates, links to our Live Stream options, and our online giving portal.

The seriousness of this pandemic was shown in the fact that yesterday I had the opportunity to take part in a conference call specifically for pastors with President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary Ben Carson. These leaders were live on the call with us as pastors. They shared valuable information on the latest developments with the coronavirus. We also walked through answers to some of the most pressing questions churches are facing, including why it is important to comply with the recommendations from those in authority during this time. Furthermore, tonight’s announcement and appeal from West Virginia Governor Jim Justice influenced the determination.

We have been prayerfully considering all options and praying for all our people. As you may have heard, one of the challenges in resisting the spread of the coronavirus is that an infected person can go without symptoms for up to two weeks, possibly infecting others during that time, without realizing they themselves are carrying it.

Again, currently we are shifted to a live-stream only approach for at least the next couple of weeks.

As always, online giving of tithes and offerings can be done at https://mycac.net/giving

Please continue in prayer with us regarding wisdom during this crisis.

Below is a good communication that Sis. Lamoureux sent out to our Ladies Ministry list.

Thank you for all you do. We love you. God bless you.

Sincerely,
Pastor Doug Joseph

Coronavirus Check-In Saturday, March 21
Happy Spring!

Coronavirus is wreaking havoc in our country right now. No doubt anxiety is high for many people, over health, financial, and other concerns. But as the Body of Christ, we know this, “Coronavirus is not king, JESUS IS KING!” Remain in God’s steadfast presence, as we pray for those affected by this illness.

2 Timothy 1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Psalm 46:1-11

1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Let us not be afraid, but with confidence use this opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus through our prayers and our care for others.
