Sad news reported in the October 31 State Journal – one of our pro-life candidates for House of Delegates, John R. Rose, was killed as a result of Hurricane Sandy. All of us at West Virginians for Life extend our sympathies to the Rose family.
We ask that all those who vote in House District 47 (Barbour and Tucker Counties), would still vote for Mr. Rose, not only as a tribute but because…”If Rose gets the most votes, according to (Sec. of State) Tennant, citizens will have elected a vacancy and the Republican Executive Committee in Barbour County will be asked to submit three names to Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin who will then select one of those nominees to serve House District 47.” Rose was in contention with pro-abortion incumbent Mary Poling.
